In 2022, Farnborough Airport embarked on a bold £55m investment programme to significantly expand its facilities and infrastructure by developing an iconic 175,000 sq ft state of the art hangar facility, increasing its overall hangar space by over 70%. The landmark development was conceived in response to the growing demand for premium hangar space.
Fast forward 18 months and Domus III has arrived, setting a new benchmark in aviation hangar infrastructure, with sustainability at the very heart of its modern and progressive design.
Centrally located in a prime position adjacent to the Airport's two main taxiways, Domus III complements the Airport's existing award winning architecture. At 300m in length, Domus III has the flexibility to accommodate several large aircraft such as the Dassault Falcon 10X and the next generation of business jets including, Global 7500 and Gulfstream G700, whilst also having the ability to house the growing presence of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
